Backstage Profile
For the sake of transparency: I haven’t updated this profile since about 2022 and I need a new video/monologue reel and hopefully a voice reel. But hey! I might as well put this here just in case. Acting is how I realized that storytelling is my passion: through tone, expression, body language, words. In everything I do, I reflect this love for telling stories; in every job I’ve ever held, I am a communicator. I’ve included the photos above from Chris Koeppen because shooting with him was a sharp reminder to me of how much I enjoy embodying a story, too: from a lonely but powerful faerie queen to a stern and foreboding Gothic witch. What could be more human than these strange symbols and sounds we’ve created to communicate, and what could be more meaningful than the worlds we imagine for ourselves and bring into being? Collaborating on artistic endeavors with other artists brings me the most joy, and hopefully I can make my way back there.
NB: Koeppen does not use generative AI for the background images, but instead uses art that is in the public domain to provide settings for his fantasy images. For instance, in the second artwork, he uses JF Weir’s ‘Christmas Eve.‘
